We have a variety of opportunities for all ages. From grief support to serving the community with home repairs, there is something for everyone.

Discipleship ministries

JOY Group, Senior Adult Ministry - Senior adult group meeting on the first Thursday of each month for potluck lunch and program. Fieldtrips quarterly. Contact Jim, jamestmartin@att.net, for more info.
Women of the Well - Women's group that meets monthly on the 4th Thursday for refreshments and program. Book club meets after each meeting. Contact Becka, beckacannon@gmail.com for more info.
Bluebonnet Square Dancers - Meeting every Monday night in the Christian Life Center. Contact church office for more info.
Klein Line Dancers - Meeting every Monday afternoon. New members always welcome. Contact church office for more info.
Piecemakers, Quilting Ministry - Quilting and sewing group meets weekly on Tuesdays at 10:00am. Quilts are donated to Ronald McDonald House, Tomball VA Hospital, the Gathering Place and more. MAMAS - Moms Appreciating Motherhood at All Stages meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:30pm. Childcare is available. For more information, contact Allison Hicks at allison@kleinumc.org.

The Gathering Place, Alzheimer's Respite Care - We offer respite care and care-giver support on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. Clients enjoy a meal, crafts, exercise and a program! On-site support group for care-givers. Contact Janice, mccormickjanice@att.net, for more info.
Klein Feeding Our Neighbors Food Pantry - We partner with schools in our community to identify and serve students and their families who are experiencing food insecurity.
Griefshare, Grief Support Group - Fall and Spring offereings of a 13 week Grief Support Group. Led by individuals who have experienced grief and gone through the program themselves. Contact the church office for more info.

Klein at Home, Shut-In Ministry - Pastors visiting those who are home-bound or unable to attend worship. They will also bring Communion for those that request it. Contact Jennifer, jennifer@kleinumc.org, for more info.

Food Pantry Ministry - We partner with schools in our community to identify and serve students and their families who are experiencing food insecurity. Learn more about blessing our client families with a holiday meal this Christmas here.
Homeless Ministry - Hope Beyond Bridges meets once a month at Klein UMC to prepare and distribute meals to people along I-45 and other local highways.
Educator and School Partnerships - Proud to partner with Kreinhop Elementary and other campuses in Klein ISD!
Public Health Partnerships - We partner with Harris County Public Health as well as Walgreens to provide free Covid testing as well as free Covid, flu and pneumonia vaccinations. Contact the church office for more info.
Home Repair Team - Team works on various home projects for church members and non-members in need.

Quarterly Blood Drive - Gulf Coast Blood Center meets quarterly to run a blood drive in our Christian Life Center.
Ministry to the Incarcerated - Support of and participation in this ministry that spends two weekends a year in area prisons building relationships and offering hope to an incarcerated population.

Chancel Choir - All adults are encouraged and welcome to join our Chancel choir. They lead worship most Sunday mornings at 9:00am and 11:00am. They also prepare special concerts and worship services for the Christmas season and other times throughout the year. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Choir Room. Tapestry Women's Choir - All women are invited to join our Tapestry Choir. Performances in worship and as outreach in our community throughout the year. Rehearsals weekly on Monday mornings. Contact Debbie, choirteacher2013@gmail.com, for more info.
Children's Choir & Percussion - K-5th graders learn to sing, dance, play instruments, and prepare songs for worship from 2:00-3:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. Come play along as we learn to worship the Lord through music. The children help lead worship quarterly as well as holiday concerts and they produce an annual Christmas musical.
